![]() Use the manager to add the GNR (Data East 1994) table as the table name. It should load without any backglass present because there is no backglass named that special name.Ģ.) Load PinballX's game manager and select "Add New" table. You should NOT rename any Guns N' Roses b2s to that file name. This will prevent VPX from trying to "match" the b2s file to the table when it loads. So instead of naming the table Guns N Roses (Data East 1994).vpx - name the table GNR (Data East 1994).vpx. GNR (Data East 1994) Alternate-Backglass-Video.mp4ġ.) Make sure you name / rename the VPX table a completely different name than any other version of the table you may have. Topper Images and Wheel Images are included as well. ![]() I happened to come across an alternate backglass translite image - that I was able to recreate (and in my opinion, improve upon) with a collection images from the internet and some original elements drawn from scratch. That's why I opted to make a 1920x1080 HD VIDEO version that continuously loops, instead. What I wanted to do with this VIDEO backglass was not possible with a b2s file (very fast flickering and flashing) without either a huge file size or the risk of slowing down the tables gameplay. Some of these new features sound really intriguing, such as the jukebox attract mode feature. The original tables backglass was a single fluorescent light that just illuminated the backglass translite. That said, my local pinball community always gets one of the latest pins. Hopefully, I’ll be able to check this one out in person before too long, but it’s hard to say since there aren’t any events taking place soon. Here’s the Standard, then the Collector’s Edition playfields: The Collector’s Edition has even more to it, but I’ll let you look at the page so that this isn’t a huge wall of text. I haven’t seen a Features Matrix yet, but it looks like the LE and CE models feature more lighting, an extra flipper, a “triple-kinetic diverter Fender Bass Head mini playfield,” a triple path 4-string bass ramp wireform, additional LED stage lighting, a High Hat and Cymbal pop bumper toy, a shaker motor, Invisiglass, and more. It’s quite a bit in each package that I know it becomes a little overwhelming at times. Each cabinet features unique artwork from the other, but all models come with the “Direction-Sensing Spinning Platinum Record Playfield Toy” and exposed magnet Sculptures for Slash’s Iconic Top Hat, Screaming Axl Rose, & the Concert Speaker Stack 27″ HD screen in the backbox, a 7″ stage display, RGB LEDs lighting insert, 21 GNR “studio master” songs, original music & sound effects created and performed by Slash, game narration by Duff McKagan, Melissa Reese, Axl Rose and more, a new “LED controllable Hotrail” feature, full band-on-stage illuminated toy, 3 flippers, a jukebox attract mode option, Bluetooth headphone & WiFi connectivity and a laser-etched glowing fender bass ramp decoration – among other things. The Standard edition comes with a pretty competitive price, starting at $6750 MSRP (normally the JJP games standard models started around $8k). Per usual, the game comes in three models, Standard, Limited and Collector’s Editions. The game was designed by Eric Meunier (Pirates of the Caribbean) and includes content contributions from band guitarist Slash. Here’s the professionally-made official trailer: This also marks the first rock band theme for the company. The latter part of it launching today is a little bit of a surprise given that most of the time the games aren’t quite ready to go when the announcement is made, but I’m sure that no one is complaining. ![]() It’s been on the rumor list for a while now, and today Jersey Jack Pinball has officially unveiled and launched their sixth game, Guns N’ Roses: Not In This Lifetime.
